The Speed Loop is the method that helps to reduce the time to update Excel workbooks from 2 weeks/month to 2 days/month.

The Speed Loop process provides a systematic approach for optimizing your workbooks for efficiency and accuracy. If you feel like improving your workbooks, but aren't sure where to start or which specific steps to take, this webinar is for you. Excel is a big place with many features and functions. This can feel overwhelming and like there is no organized process for workbook improvement. There is, and it is called the Speed Loop. 

With the help of speed loop there is significant time saving, and I share that same process through this free CPE webinar so you can get your work done faster as well. To get your work done fast in Excel requires two things: process & skills. In this webinar, I focus on the Speed Loop process. Excel skills are the features and functions you need to automate manual tasks. To illustrate the Speed Loop process, we'll cover some very important skills including Power Query, PivotTables, Tables, MAX, and more. In his live CPE training sessions, Jeff Lenning CPA CITP has shown thousands of CPAs and accounting professionals across the country how to use Excel to streamline their work and become more efficient. Several publications have featured his Excel articles, including the Journal of Accountancy and California CPA Magazine.

Highlights

Jeff began his career in the audit practice at Arthur Andersen’s Orange County office. He was a senior financial analyst at Gateway computers and the accounting manager at Interpore Cross International. In 2000, he founded Click Consulting Inc., a technology consulting firm. In 2012, he launched Excel University.

Professional Involvement

He is a past president of the CalCPA OCLB Chapter, the former chair of the California CPA State Technology Committee, co-chair of the California CPA OCLB Chapter Technology Committee, a board member of the California CPA OCLB Chapter, on the California Society of CPAs Council, and an instructor for the AICPA and the California CPA Education Foundation. A Microsoft Office Certified Excel Expert, he is a nationally recognized speaker and Microsoft Certified Trainer. Great CPE program - great content and excellent instructor. There were two problems with the information published by myCPE about the program and in the sign-up email: 1. The learning objectives (there were 4) - however, only the first 1 was relevant to the seminar. Objectives #2 through #4 must be from a different session. 2. the download link in the sign-up email did not work. Of course the instructor resolved this at the start.

Too bad, I haven't been able to download the presentation materials. I keep getting the following error that reads: OPPS! PAGE NOT FOUND 404 THE REQUEST URL WAS NOT FOUND ON THIS SERVER. The presentation materials area valuable as they will help with job task and would be a good source to keep for reference.
