Pat Garverick is a Certified Public Accountant who currently lives in the Phoenix, Arizona area. He began his career in public accounting in 1988 after obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Accounting from The Ohio State University. After receiving his Master of Taxation (MT) degree from Arizona State University in 1992, Mr. Garverick began operating his own tax and financial planning business. He also started writing, reviewing, and teaching tax and financial planning continuing professional education courses around the country.
In addition to being a CPA, Pat is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). This role serves to enhance the knowledge he brings as he writes and presents continuing education material. Mr. Garverick is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Pat has presented continuing education sessions throughout the country and has won awards for both his skills as an instructor as well as for the content he has created. His knowledge, expertise, and high energy have made him one of the profession’s most highly rated speakers. He is in a very small group of instructors that are both extremely knowledgeable and interesting.
During his time in college, Pat earned a letter as a member of the Ohio State Basketball squad. He remains a staunch supporter of the sports programs at his alma mater.

I really enjoyed the class. The instructor was very good at keeping me engaged. Tax classes are normally very boring but this instructor really held my attention. I also loved the way he broke it down so that beginners like me can understand it better. I also loved the hands-on workshop approach. It is much better than just listening to someone talk for hours. I really enjoyed this class and if you have other classes by this instructor I will definitely sign up for them.

The course presented by Patrick Gaverick was amazing. It starts with some basic concept and dives deeper into the more complex by presenting them in a very structured, clear and understandable manner. I really gained tremendous amount of new knowledge and clarity on a lot of new IRS requirement. I will definitely recommend this course. Thank you Mr. Gaverick!

Mr. Garverick is one of the best presenters I've had so far on this and other platforms. I had few classes with him in the past as well. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and able to keep your attention throughout the 8 hour courses. He is no doubt 5 stars.

The first class I took from this instructor was a happy accident. Now, I only take his classes when I have a choice. I am pleased to be able to spend 8 hours learning from someone with his level of knowledge and experience.

Mr Garverick is an excellent presenter. He is obviously deeply knowledgeable about tax, but he also mixes in some lighter conversation to make it more personal. Looking forward to attending more of his courses.
