Course Description

myCPE Ethics course meets ethics CPE requirements and helps you enhance your professional acumen. We are a leading provider of ethics CPE courses. Our AICPA ethics CPE webinars meet the ethics requirements for CPAs, tax preparers, and other accounting and finance professionals. myCPe ethics CPE courses use practical, real-world examples to highlight key ethical requirements, ensuring they are readily understandable.

Whether you are a CPA in public practice or business, the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct applies to you. This CPE course summarizes nearly two hundred pages of the code, giving you a clear and concise understanding of its overall framework, principles, rules, standards, and examples of ethical conflicts.

This Ethics CPE course also teaches you to evaluate specific procedures and recommendations so that your decision-making and actions are ethically sound. More importantly, you will gain insight into the meaning behind the code: the formation of a principled professional in all aspects of your career. Since the AICPA code is used as a benchmark for state codes, this course will be useful in preparing you to meet state requirements as well.

CPAs must seamlessly transition to a profession that relies heavily on conformance with technical and ethical standards. It is critical for CPAs to seek to serve the public interest with a strong sense of character, integrity, competence, and due professional care. In addition, CPAs must appropriately safeguard any threats to independence and objectivity.  This online CPE course will provide an overview of the basic principles of the AICPA’s Code of Professional Conduct with practical implementation examples.

In this online CPE webinar, you will experience a fresh, updated understanding of the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct.

Major topics covered in this Ethics CPE webinar:

  • The AICPA Code of Professional Responsibility
  • AICPA Principles
  • AICPA Rules
  • AICPA Conceptual Framework
  • Real-world case studies that highlight specific challenges to Code compliance

This 4-hour course uses practical "Case in Point" examples to provide a hands-on application of the material. Ideal for CPAs who need a general professional ethics requirement (i.e., those in all states except those that require a state-specific ethics course)

This was one of the best CPE webinars I have ever heard, which is amazing considering it was for 4 hours and covered ethics. The speaker did an amazing job covering the topics but in a conversational way, so it was truly interesting. The real life examples also enhanced the topic.

This was an awesome webinar i really enjoyed the instructor, and how he made it easy for me to understand. I really like the reference to football goal posts it really put it into perspective for me. Also it was an awesome power point i guess you could say it was really on point.

Never participated in webinars on the subject of ethics. I thought it would be boring mainly focused on reading and interpreting code of conduct and other guidance on this topic. In reality it was so interesting, that I stopped multitasking and engaged in listening 100%!

This was my first experience with myCPE - it far surpassed my expectations. I really enjoyed taking the class on zoom - I found it to be much more engaging/user friendly than some of the other platforms I've taken CPE on since the pandemic started.
