This webinar is a part of the Construction Audit Series by Denise
Cicchella!
Insurance is a vital risk mitigation tool in construction projects.
There are several types of insurance and insurance arrangements found when
dealing with construction projects. One needs to understand all the different
arrangements to ensure they know all the risks and benefits of each.
Why it is necessary
to have insurance at construction sites?
Protection against loss, damage, and liability is required at every
stage of construction – from conceptualization and design to
implementation, handover, and operation, comprehensive insurance coverage is
imperative. This is because the inherent risks associated with construction
projects are numerous and substantial.
There are all sorts of risks associated with construction projects,
from natural disasters like fire and wind storms to vandalism, arson, and
theft. As a contractor, you have a responsibility to ensure you and your
employees are protected with the right types of insurance coverage.
This CPE Auditing Webinar will consider the role of insurance,
important insurance considerations, and common types of insurance cover in
construction projects.
