Many organizations have gone through extensive efforts to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley and other internal control regulations to ensure accuracy in their financial statements. But financial statement controls cover only a small area of risk and often ignore the far greater risks resulting from weak operational and other financial controls. This free CPE webinar not only addresses the theoretical concept of the internal control systems but also provides readers with the practical guidance they need to assume a role in the design, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of a comprehensive framework of internal controls for their organizations
Odds are, fraud is happening at your company. If not now, it’s really only a question of when. Today’s online CPE webinar focuses on the staggering statistics of occupational fraud as well as some cost-effective solutions that small- and intermediate-sized companies can consider to safeguard your assets and protect your operations. If time permits, we will also look into a fraud case study and discuss red flags in the behavior of a fraudster.Â
This online CPE webinar covers following major topics:Â

This one was very good. Not surprising, since it was lead by a CPA. Some my-cpe's are a little light on technicals, but this one was impressive.

Great presenter, very interesting info. If I could give one critique it focused a bit much on stats rather than actual concepts.
