This online CPE webinar is designed for business owners and those other professionals (accountants and Human Resources professionals) who assist businesses. When an employee asks for accommodation, sometimes the business may need to take steps to explore whether it is feasible to provide such an accommodation. Attendees will learn how the duty to “reasonably accommodate” focuses on disabilities and religious beliefs. Examples will include 2021 problems employers are facing involving COVID-19 issues.
This online continuing education course will provide attendees with an overview of an employer’s duty to accommodate employees under various federal laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
This online CPE course will use real-world examples that have been ripped from the headlines. Rather than vague theory, this online CPE webinar will use the same type of situations that employers are likely to confront. Attendees will be able to learn techniques to help their organizations minimize the risks of being sued for discrimination under various federal laws.
