Course Description

Using the IF Function is a common feature that most of us utilize in an Excel worksheet. But many of us do not realize what can go awry in some cases with using this feature. Well, here is the answer to it. Our eminent EXCEL Expert brings here step-wise details on this IF Function right from its basics and beyond. Also, he shares the alternatives to this Function which includes various functions such as IFS, CHOOSE, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and several others. This Online Webinar also explores techniques useful in verifying that formulas such as nested IF statements are working properly.

Every technique is demonstrated at least twice by David in this continuing education course, firstly by means of a PowerPoint slide with numbered steps and secondly in a subscription-based MS Office 365 version of Excel. David also draws your attention to differences in the older versions of Excel (i.e. 2019, 2016, 2013, etc.)in this online CPE webinar through his presentation and detailed handouts. He also has shared an Excel workbook that includes most of the examples used during the webcast.

David explains the subscription-based product 'Office 365' providing new feature updates as often as monthly as against the perpetual licensed versions of Excel such as Excel 2019, Excel 2016, and so on, which does not update and include the latest features.

I'm currently taking David's other course Microsoft Excel Step by Step Training for Beginners which covered the basics of the IF, AND, and OR functions. I wanted to learn more so I took a break from that course and tried out this one. I'm so glad that I did. I've tried learning excel formulas from youtube videos and none of them explained as clearly as this course. I also really appreciate all of the keyboard shortcuts. Thanks for your hard work and looking forward to taking more of your courses!

The course helped mae achieved my primary objective of having good knowledege of the use of Excel logical functions. David delivered the course in an engaging manner. The production quality is really good. Clear instructions and well-explained! Though a worksheet with exercises would make this course even greater!

JM

The course goes step by step from the easiest IF function to the nested IF functions and combines the IF functions with other functions and with text. It's absolutely great. I feel a lot more confident with the IF functions now. Thanks for the course. It's amazing that this course is free because it is so complete.

PS

I've been trying to learn Excel on my own, from watching videos to using trial and error just to get the results I need. This course will definitely eliminate all the hassles I've been through. The things I needed are all here, explained very clearly and has examples I can greatly appreciate. Thanks!
