Course Description

The face-to-face interview is the most important step in the hiring process. Many HR professionals are not aware of the responsibility of the task. Personal interviews and employment applications are the most frequently used tools for selecting the best-qualified candidates for employment.

Human professionals engaged in the hiring process normally devote much of their time to interviewing. However, there is an appalling lack of effort given to systematic attempts at building improvements into this age-old process. No systematic process is in place through which one can ace the interview process fairly. Interviewing remains one of those activities that we think we know all about merely because we have been doing it for so long; we have been lulled by habit. It seems apparent that a modest effort aimed at an analysis of our interviewing techniques would yield generous returns.

For many, it takes years to learn and perfect the dos and don’ts of interviewing.
