Daven earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Delhi, India. After migrating to United States in 1985, he earned CPA and CFP® designations. In 2016, he founded Academy of Financial Planning, a non-profit organization devoted to providing free financial education to all, as he believes that everyone deserves an opportunity to be financially independent.
Daven lives in Dublin, CA and enjoys reading and travel in addition to spending time with his family and a rescued puppy Lilah.

I just subscribed to myCPE yesterday, not finding meaningful content with the AICPA webcast. What a way to start it off. I'm a CPA/PFS and this material will allow me to provide superior skills to my clients in their planning sessions. I am very impressed with the program selection, availability, alternative dates for scheduling convenience. This is going to be a continuing experience into the future.

For a one-hour webinar this presentation provides an excellent high level summary of health care coverage and expenses in retirement. I've done dozens of webinars on myCPE and this is one of the best I've done. A one-hour webinar can only do so much, but this one does a great job of covering the subject matter.

The income sheet for the cost of Medicare is a real eye opener. I can see a lot of income planning would really benefit an individual. Perhaps filing MFS would help to reduce the cost of Medicare prior to signing up.

Medicare seems to be a bit of a mystery. Learned plenty about Medicare today. Many little things are required to be done. It was made easier today.
