Negotiation is a skill we use every day – from agreeing on what the kids can watch on their devices; to what to do at the weekend; to the remit and timescale for an upcoming project; to contracting a system upgrade or planning the year-end process; and so on. Even going for a promotion is negotiation around skills, requirements, and they're worth.

In the “Negotiation Skills” webinar, we look at how to become a successful negotiator, covering the drivers of success in negotiation; the elements to cover in a negotiation; and what to do if a negotiation becomes stuck. My philosophy is to inspire, challenge and support change. I have nearly 30 years’ experience as a business author and consultant.

As a consultant, I specialise in process improvement based on the Lean philosophy. I facilitate improvement teams and provide expertise in performance measurement and management; problem solving; and process improvement. 

As well as delivering webinars for MyCPE, I develop courses and webinars for the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in the UK and other specialist business and finance providers.

I live in Scotland, near Glasgow, with my wife, daughter and Cocker Spaniel.
