Course Description

Planning for retirement starts with thinking about your retirement goals and how long you have to meet them.  To have a comfortable, secure – and – fun retirement, you need to build the financial cushion that will fund it all.  Retirement planning includes identifying sources of income, estimating expenses, implementing a savings program, and managing assets and risk.  Future cash flows are estimated to determine if the retirement income goal will be achieved.

However, retirement planning is a multi-step process and in most cases, it evolves over time.  This webinar takes a long-term approach to the retirement plan that starts with ERISA.  It also includes the change in careers over the long period of time that a professional may take. This is a remarkable value addition that covers a wide range of requirements of the population.  A detailed description and included calculations make the webinar more relevant for the simplicity of understanding and comparison.

This online CPE webinar covers following key topics:

  • Different Allocation Methods for Profit-Sharing Plans
  • 1 or 2 Person Defined Benefit/Defined Contribution Combo Plans

As retirement is a very complex area of taxation and accounting, this course provided more detail than what I am used to. This instructor discussed all relevant factors for each type of plan and provided a description of the concept.

Love the site

The instructor was fabulous. I don’t do a significant amount of retirement plans in my work, but I learned enough to direct someone to the right party. It was great!!!

This was an excellent presentation that provided me with some ideas I had not yet explored.

Good and practical overview of retirement plans. He really knows his stuff and had practical ideas. I would hire him if I had a need in this area.

Great topics, very informative.
