Course Description

When investors seek to return, most consider stocks.

However, there is a wealth of opportunities to invest in other items besides stocks and not just bonds, mutual funds, or foreign exchange. They're a fairly new dynamic asset class, alternatives cover a wide range of investments with unique characteristics. Alternative asset classes are fairly new, and create some levels of liquidity but provide attractive alternative means to stocks or mutual funds.

Most alternative investment assets are held by institutional investors or accredited, high-net-worth individuals because of their complex nature, lack of regulation, and degree of risk. Many alternative investments have high minimum investments and fee structures, especially when compared to mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). These investments also have less opportunity to publish verifiable performance data and advertise to potential investors.

This CPE Finance Webinar aims to provide you with what alternative asset classes exist so that you are more informed for clients and can provide alternatives not previously considered.
