The Taxpayer Certainty and Disaster Tax Relief (TCDTR) Act was enacted on Dec. 27, 2020, to provide tax relief in the form of tax credits for eligible employers. A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar relief on payroll taxes in this instance, whereas a tax break would minimize your overall tax liability.
The business meal tax deduction has been debated for decades. The IRS informed that business meals and beverage expenses paid to restaurants during the 2021 and 2022 tax years are completely deductible.

Jason was born and raised in Iowa and has a degree in corporate communications from Simpson College in Indianola. He has a big family that includes his wife, two sons, 5 cats and 3 dogs. Jason holds season tickets to University of Iowa football, and enjoys using his chainsaw. Topmost item in his 2022 bucket list is to learn how to properly ‘nose & taste’ whisky.
