Jason Dean is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the School of Mathematics, Economics, and Management at King’s University College in London, Ontario.  He received an HHBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, an MA in Economics from the University of Guelph, and a PhD in Economics from McGill University. Jason has a diverse teaching background with experience teaching economics courses at various institutions including Laurier, McMaster, Sheridan, and at various universities in China. He is an applied econometrician with broad interests in labour, housing, and health economics. He has published several peer-reviewed articles in on topics such as immigrant economic integration, the impact of job matching, and on labour market and housing outcomes of various marginalized groups in Canada.  Prior to entering academia, Jason was a Health Economist at Analysis Group in Montréal where he conducted empirical research on a variety of healthcare-related outcomes. His professional experience also includes various analyst positions in the marketing research and mutual fund industries.
