Course Description

Congress has approved, and President Trump signed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, a massive tax-and-spending package intended to provide additional economic relief to address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

By some unofficial estimates, the tax and spending provisions in the legislation would increase the federal deficit by roughly $2 trillion. This course will provide the latest and greatest info accountants need to know about tax and business relief stemming from the COVID-19 response. Recent congressional Acts, such as the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, and "PPP", provide economic and tax relief that has important implications for businesses big and small.

The Internal Revenue Service has also issued a series of notices and other guidance providing tax-related relief. This presentation will provide viewers with a newly updated summary of the key provisions and changes that you need to know now.
