Adams Brown Technology Specialists has announced the acquisition of Higher Calling Technologies, a technology provider based in Parsons, Kansas. This strategic move aims to enhance Adams Brown's service offerings, particularly in managed IT, cybersecurity, network penetration testing, vCIO services, and technology consulting. The acquisition is expected to provide clients with more comprehensive support and resources.
Mike Meyer, owner of Higher Calling Technologies, emphasized the continuity and expansion of services for existing clients. "Our clients have always counted on us to be here when something is not working," Meyer stated. "This move gives them the same people they already know, with more teammates, more tools, and more specialized support behind us when the issue calls for it." Meyer will continue to play an active role in the firm's operations, ensuring a seamless transition for HCT clients.
Adams Brown, headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, is recognized as a Midwest Regional Leader in the accounting industry. The firm reported $61 million in revenue and operates with 22 partners and over 380 employees across 18 offices. The acquisition of Higher Calling Technologies aligns with Adams Brown's strategy to strengthen its regional IT services, which serve companies across Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and surrounding areas.
Chris Schneider, CEO of Adams Brown Technology Specialists, highlighted the importance of reliable IT services for business owners. "Most business owners do not want to spend their day thinking about IT," Schneider explained.
