Ascend, a partner for regional accounting firms supported by private equity firm Alpine Investors, has announced the addition of Maureen Churgovich Dillmore as Vice President of Partnerships, effective February 17, 2025. In this role, Churgovich Dillmore will oversee the expansion of Ascend's modern growth platform for regional accounting firms into new markets across the United States.
Churgovich Dillmore brings extensive experience in supporting firms striving to maintain their independence. She has dedicated a significant portion of her career to assisting mid-sized firms in achieving success while preserving their unique brand and culture. Impressed by Ascend's model, she noted its effectiveness in providing mid-sized firms with the community and resources necessary to remain relevant, sustain growth, and offer top-tier shared services to both staff and clients.
Since its launch in January 2023, Ascend has welcomed fourteen partner firms across eleven states to its platform. Nishaad Ruparel, President of Ascend, expressed enthusiasm about Churgovich Dillmore's appointment, highlighting her curiosity, commitment, and deep care for others as valuable assets in her new role.
In her capacity as Vice President of Partnerships, Churgovich Dillmore will lead efforts to educate the industry about the Ascend model and cultivate relationships with potential new partner firms, furthering Ascend's mission to support the growth and independence of regional accounting firms nationwide.
