The eighth-largest US accounting firm, CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), has incorporated Axiom Certified Public Accountants & Business Advisors LLC (Axiom) into its operations. Serving industries including construction, real estate and technology, the merger will benefit clients with improved resources and services while strengthening the firms' commitment to client success.
CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), the eighth-largest accounting firm in the United States, announced that Axiom Certified Public Accountants & Business Advisors LLC (Axiom) joined CLA on August 1, 2024.
Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Axiom offers services in tax, assurance, general accounting, specialty tax credits, incentive services, and state and local tax consulting. The firm serves industries including construction, real estate, manufacturing, technology, and government. Axiom's team comprises four partners and 16 professionals who have become part of CLA.
Ron Saavedra, partner at Axiom, expressed enthusiasm about the merger, stating that joining CLA provides access to resources and technology beneficial for client growth. He highlighted both firms' shared commitment to offering valued services and investing in future technologies.
Scott Engelbrecht, CLA's chief geographic officer, welcomed Axiom, noting that their deep knowledge of New Mexico and the Southwest U.S. economy enhances CLA's value to clients nationwide.
Founded in 2012, Axiom has built a diverse client base and maintains strong community connections. The merger with CLA aims to provide clients with enhanced services and resources, reinforcing both firms' commitment to client success.
