Baker Holtz to Join Maner Costerisan, Expanding West Michigan Presence

Grand Rapids-based company Baker Holtz is set to join Lansing-based firm Maner Costerisan from January 1, 2026, bolstering Maner's presence and service abilities in West Michigan. The merger is expected to enhance the value delivered to clients, with Baker Holtz's three partners and 28 team members remaining in Grand Rapids before moving to Maner Costerisan's expanded office in spring 2026.
Lansing, Mich.-based firm Maner Costerisan has announced that Grand Rapids-based Baker Holtz will join the firm effective January 1, 2026, strengthening Maner’s regional footprint and service capabilities across West Michigan. The agreement was finalized in late October.
“Joining forces with Maner Costerisan allows us to deliver even greater value to our clients without sacrificing the personal relationships and attention they’ve come to expect,” said Ryan Holtz, CPA, CGMA, managing partner of Baker Holtz. “Both firms share the same values and dedication to our people, our team and the West Michigan community.”
Founded in 1979, Baker Holtz serves small and midsize businesses as well as individuals and families. The firm’s three partners and 28 team members will remain in their downtown Grand Rapids office through the 2026 tax season before transitioning into Maner Costerisan’s expanded office in the spring.
Maner Costerisan, which opened its Grand Rapids location in 2019, is expanding into a new 15,000-square-foot space designed to support its current team, incoming Baker Holtz professionals and continued future growth. The combined firm will have more than 225 professionals serving clients across Michigan.
