Chicago-based Baker Tilly has announced the acquisition of Dallas-based Invoke Tax Partners, signaling a significant expansion of its specialty tax service offerings.
This strategic acquisition enhances Baker Tilly’s national capabilities in real estate and business personal property tax, sales and use tax, and severance tax. The move aligns with the firm’s broader strategy of scaling high-impact services across key industries including manufacturing, commercial real estate, energy, and distribution.
“By bringing Invoke’s cutting-edge expertise and dynamic team into Baker Tilly, we’re not just augmenting our specialty tax services — we’re redefining how we deliver value to clients on a national level,” said Lynette Stolarzyk, managing partner of tax services at Baker Tilly.
The acquisition also reflects Baker Tilly’s continued focus on deepening industry-specific services. As the firm evolves, it remains committed to expanding technical expertise while fostering stronger client relationships. The deal adds momentum to Baker Tilly’s recent growth trajectory, which has been accelerated by private equity investment from Hellman & Friedman and Valeas Capital Partners.

Invoke Tax Partners, known for its tax consulting and property tax expertise, will integrate into Baker Tilly’s national platform, bringing a highly experienced team and specialized knowledge to the firm’s growing tax service lines.
