Baker Tilly to Acquire KraftCPAs, Expanding Southeast Reach

Baker Tilly is set to acquire Nashville-based firm KraftCPAs PLLC, expanding its presence in the Southeast and strengthening service capabilities across Tennessee. The deal, seen as a strategic long-term investment, combines Baker Tilly's national scale and KraftCPAs’ regional expertise, aiming to enhance potential for their clients and competitive success in a rapidly transforming economic region.

Baker Tilly is set to acquire KraftCPAs PLLC, a Nashville-based IPA 200 firm, in a strategic move to expand its Southeast presence and build capacity in one of the country’s fastest-growing regions. With KraftCPAs’s $35.7M in FY23 revenue and local industry expertise, the deal marks a major step in Baker Tilly’s growth trajectory and strengthens its service capabilities across Tennessee and beyond.

The combination pairs Baker Tilly’s national scale with KraftCPAs’s strong regional reputation, aligning two firms that emphasize integrity, collaboration, and high-quality service. “This move expands what’s possible for our clients,” said KraftCPAs chief manager Chris Hight, while Baker Tilly’s Monica Dalwadi called the acquisition a “strategic, long-term investment” in a high-demand market.

Koltin Consulting Group CEO Allan Koltin, who advised on the transaction, praised KraftCPAs as a “trusted leader in Nashville” and noted that the deal positions both firms for competitive success in a region undergoing rapid economic transformation.
