BGM Expands Midwest Presence with Addition of The Vroman Group

Bloomington-based firm BGM has strengthened its presence in the Midwest by acquiring West Des Moines-based The Vroman Group LLP, an accounting and business consulting firm. This allows BGM to broaden its service capabilities, including accounting, tax, advisory, wealth management, and trust and estate services.
Bloomington, Minn.-based firm BGM has expanded its Midwest footprint with the addition of The Vroman Group LLP, a West Des Moines, Iowa-based accounting and business consulting firm. The combination strengthens BGM’s presence in the region and broadens its capabilities across accounting, tax, advisory, wealth management and trust and estate services.
“The addition of The Vroman Group marks an exciting step in BGM’s growth strategy,” said Dane J. Boeckermann, CEO and principal of BGM. “The Vroman team has built a highly respected practice rooted in client relationships, integrity and technical excellence, values that align perfectly with BGM’s culture.”
Founded in 2005, The Vroman Group brings deep expertise serving small to midsize businesses and individuals throughout Iowa. Its long-standing relationships and local market insight complement BGM’s expanding service model. “Joining BGM allows us to access greater resources and specialized expertise while maintaining the hands-on service our clients value,” said Jeff Vroman, CPA and MP of The Vroman Group.
Clients of both firms will continue working with their existing advisors, with integration underway focusing on continuity, collaboration and elevated service. Joe Tarasco, CEO of Accountants Advisory Group, advised both firms on the transaction.
