Citrin Cooperman Expands Geographic Presence with Acquisition of Coleman Huntoon & Brown

Citrin Cooperman, a US professional services firm, has acquired tax, accounting and business consulting firm Coleman Huntoon & Brown PLLC (CH&B), marking its first office in the Carolinas. The move is set to add over 20 employees and more than $7 million in revenue to Citrin Cooperman, reflecting its commitment to growing its national presence and service offerings.
In January 2024, Citrin Cooperman, a nationally recognized professional services firm, announced the acquisition of Coleman Huntoon & Brown PLLC (CH&B), a tax, accounting, and business consulting firm based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
This strategic acquisition adds over 20 employees and more than $7 million in revenue to Citrin Cooperman, marking the firm's first office location in the Carolinas.
Executive Chairman Joel Cooperman and CEO Alan Badey expressed enthusiasm about the merger, stating, "From our very first meeting, we found the CHB partners to be perfectly aligned with us. We share the same values and the same dedication to high-quality, timely client service. Combining with CHB will provide us with the opportunity to work together to grow our firm and our service offerings in North Carolina and beyond."
