Citrin Cooperman, an accounting, tax, and advisory firm, will acquire the assets of Chicago-based firm ORBA, further expanding its Midwest presence and adding 15 partners and over 150 professionals to its team. The acquisition, expected to close in October 2025, marks a strategic expansion for Citrin Cooperman which has completed over 30 acquisitions since 2019, backed by private equity partners New Mountain Capital and Blackstone; the firm now ranks as a Top 15 CPA and advisory firm in Chicago with revenues exceeding $75 million.
