Deloitte Tax has acquired select assets from Cincinnati-based Trust Processing Solutions LLP (TPS), effectively growing its Institutional Trust Group (ITG) and signaling significant expansion in fiduciary tax services. This move integrates TPS's experienced team and clientele with Deloitte, positioning the company as a leading fiduciary tax provider in the U.S and promising improved accuracy, efficiency, and customization in service delivery.
Deloitte Tax has acquired select assets of Cincinnati-based Trust Processing Solutions LLP (TPS), strengthening its Institutional Trust Group (ITG) and signaling a major expansion in the fiduciary tax services space. The acquisition brings TPS’s seasoned team and client relationships under the Deloitte umbrella, helping position the firm as one of the largest fiduciary tax providers in the U.S.
TPS is known for its high-volume return processing and deep expertise in trust, gift, estate, and information reporting. By integrating TPS with its ITG team, Deloitte aims to deliver greater accuracy, efficiency, and customization, leveraging platforms like CCH Axcess, ONESOURCE Trust Tax, and its own proprietary Intela system.
“The combined team will provide clients with unparalleled depth and service quality,” said Carin Giuliante, chair and CEO of Deloitte Tax. Doug Hart, MP of TPS, echoed the enthusiasm, calling the deal “an exciting new chapter” with global reach and greater value delivery.
