Greensboro-based accounting and advisory firm DMJPS PLLC has merged with Potter & Company PA, expanding the combined firm's presence across North Carolina with a total of ten offices. The strategic combination aims to bolster tailored services for private businesses and organizations, with increased capabilities in business valuations, client accounting, international tax consulting, litigation support, succession planning, and healthcare consulting.
DMJPS PLLC, a Greensboro-based IPA 200 accounting and advisory firm, has announced a strategic combination with Potter & Company PA, effective July 1. With FY2023 net revenue of $31.6 million, the newly expanded firm strengthens its statewide footprint with a total of 10 offices serving clients across North Carolina.
Potter & Company, which operates offices in Monroe, Concord, and Mooresville, will continue to serve clients locally while gaining access to the broader resources and expertise of DMJPS. The integration enhances the firm’s ability to deliver tailored services to privately held businesses and organizations, supporting growth through specialized solutions and industry-specific knowledge.
“We are growing through purpose. We’re a firm built in North Carolina — and we’re doubling down on that commitment,” said Drew Haddock, Co-CEO of DMJPS. Mike Gillis, Co-CEO, added that the firm’s mission centers on delivering proactive, personalized expertise that empowers people, drives innovation, and builds trust.
The combined firm will expand its capabilities across key service lines, including business valuations, fractional CFO support, client accounting, international tax consulting, litigation support, and succession planning. Clients will also benefit from DMJPS Healthcare, a dedicated practice offering consulting for medical and dental organizations.
Todd Plyler, managing partner at Potter & Company, emphasized the cultural and operational alignment behind the transition. He noted that the shared values and community focus of both firms will ensure continuity for clients and employees while creating new opportunities for regional growth and development.
Together, DMJPS and Potter & Company form a strengthened, purpose-driven team dedicated to helping North Carolina businesses and communities thrive.
Until next time…
