Ohio-based accounting and consulting firm GBQ Partners LLC has acquired Talentcrowd as part of its strategic move to enhance its business technology services. The acquisition, underlining GBQ's commitment to innovation, will integrate Talentcrowd's data-driven workforce strategies into GBQ's services, fostering client business growth and expanding its portfolio to include diverse tech solutions like AI Vision and Risk Management, Cloud Architecture, and Software Development.
GBQ Partners LLC, a Columbus, Ohio-based accounting and consulting firm, has announced the acquisition of Talentcrowd, effective January 31, 2025. This strategic move aims to bolster GBQ's business technology service offerings by integrating Talentcrowd's innovative, data-driven workforce strategies.
Doug Davidson, Director of Business Technology Solutions at GBQ, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, "This relationship will enhance GBQ’s existing business technology service offerings by providing and implementing innovative, data-driven workforce strategies that further empower growth of our clients’ businesses." He added that the collaboration underscores GBQ's dedication to being a bold, nimble, and innovative leader in professional services.
Through this acquisition, GBQ will expand its service portfolio to include:

• Change Management
• IT/DevOps Program Evaluation
• Cloud Architecture
• Data Governance and Architecture
• AI Vision and Risk Management
• Process Improvement
• Software Development
• Microsoft Remediation Services
Davidson highlighted the benefits of the acquisition, stating, "With Talentcrowd, we gain access to on-demand talent solutions and the ability to offer greater flexibility and efficiency for client engagements, including broader business technology consulting capabilities to address complex business challenges, optimized project delivery, and competitive workforce solutions tailored to client needs."
While GBQ and Talentcrowd will maintain their distinct brands in the marketplace, they will operate as a unified team behind the scenes to seamlessly serve clients. Joshua Lintz, Talentcrowd’s Founder and President, and Amanda Frye, Talentcrowd’s CEO, will join GBQ's leadership team, bringing their expertise to enhance the firm's business technology solutions.
