Grant Thornton Advisors LLC has broadened its multinational presence by incorporating Grant Thornton France, Spain, and Belgium, building upon its existing platform launched in January 2025 and fueling European growth. This development boosts cross-border advisory, tax, and M&A offerings while retaining independent audit practices, and according to CEO Jim Peko, this positions Grant Thornton as the preferred platform for talent, technology, and quality.
Chicago-based Grant Thornton Advisors LLC (FY24 net revenue $2.37B) has expanded its multinational platform with the addition of Grant Thornton France, Spain, and Belgium. The move builds on the firm’s January 2025 launch of its unified multinational platform, backed by New Mountain Capital, and follows recent acquisitions across the U.S., Ireland, UAE, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Cayman Islands, Luxembourg, and the Channel Islands.
The expansion accelerates growth across Europe, strengthening cross-border advisory, tax, and M&A offerings while maintaining independent audit practices. Grant Thornton France adds 2,800 employees across 24 offices, Spain nearly 900 professionals across 10 offices, and Belgium more than 250 professionals in seven locations. Collectively, the platform now has nearly 60 offices and 14,000 professionals worldwide.
“Expanding into France, Spain, and Belgium solidifies Grant Thornton as the platform of choice for talent, technology, and quality,” said CEO Jim Peko.
