On June 1, 2024, June M. Toth, a principal at WilkinGuttenplan, P.C., took over as the president of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) for the 2024/2025 term, succeeding Edward G. O’Connell. Notably marked by her focus on innovation and professional development, Toth's tenure promises significant developments for the accounting profession in New Jersey, with key events including the NJCPA Convention & Expo scheduled for June 2025.
On June 1, 2024, June M. Toth, CPA, CFF, CITP, CGMA, principal at WilkinGuttenplan, P.C., was inaugurated as the 2024/2025 president of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA). She succeeded Edward G. O’Connell, CPA, CGMA, CFF, CFE, a partner at Withum.
Professional Background:
Toth has been an active member of the NJCPA since 1995, serving in various capacities, including Trustee, Treasurer, chair of the NJ-CPA-PAC Board of Trustees, chair of the Committee Operations Committee, and leader of the Business Valuation, Forensic & Litigation Services Interest Group. Prior to joining WilkinGuttenplan, she was the managing member of zbt Certified Public Accounting & Consulting, LLC.
Awards and Recognitions:
Throughout her career, Toth has received several accolades, including the NJCPA Volunteer Award in 2018 and the Women to Watch Award in 2019. She was recognized as one of New Jersey Monthly’s Leading Women in 2015 and was named to NJBIZ's Accounting Power 50 from 2020 to 2022.

Under Toth's leadership, the NJCPA is organizing the NJCPA Convention & Expo, scheduled for June 3–6, 2025, at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
