LBMC, a national professional services firm, has expanded into Pennsylvania through the integration of Torrillo and Associates, a company specializing in employee benefit plan audits. This move boosts LBMC's audit capabilities, strengthening its presence in highly regulated areas of assurance and aligning with the firm's strategy for national growth and ability to support organizations with complex benefit structures.
LBMC has announced its expansion into Pennsylvania through the integration of Torrillo and Associates, a firm specializing in employee benefit plan audits. Effective January 1, Torrillo and Associates became LBMC’s Pennsylvania office, extending the firm’s geographic footprint and strengthening its national employee benefit plan audit capabilities.
The integration adds specialized expertise in one of the most highly regulated areas of assurance, including audits of 401(k), 403(b), and pension plans. Employee benefit plan audits continue to present increasing complexity due to evolving regulations, workforce growth, and heightened compliance expectations, making specialized resources critical for middle-market organizations.
LBMC leadership stated that the expansion aligns with the firm’s national growth strategy, combining deeper technical expertise with expanded regional coverage while maintaining strong client relationships. The addition of Torrillo and Associates enhances LBMC’s ability to support organizations with complex benefit structures and increased regulatory oversight.
