Atlanta-based accounting and advisory firm Mauldin & Jenkins has merged with The Prinzo Group, a government-focused technology firm, to expand its governmental advisory services. Mauldin & Jenkins, an Atlanta based accounting and advisory firm, has expanded its governmental advisory practice through a merger with The Prinzo Group, a government focused technology firm specializing in system modernization, procurement, and policy implementation. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The merger adds a dedicated technology capability to Mauldin & Jenkins’ established governmental advisory services. By integrating The Prinzo Group’s technical expertise, the firm broadens its public sector offerings beyond traditional consulting to deliver a more comprehensive model that combines organizational strategy, regulatory guidance, and hands on systems execution.
Rob Prinzo, founder of The Prinzo Group, has joined Mauldin & Jenkins as a partner as part of the transaction. Adam Fraley, governmental practice and Atlanta market leader at Mauldin & Jenkins, stated that the firm’s governmental advisory platform had identified information technology and systems services as a key capability gap. He noted that the merger formalizes a long standing collaborative relationship and positions the firm to address challenges faced by government entities operating with outdated and fragmented systems.
Prinzo stated that The Prinzo Group has focused on helping government organizations translate strategy into action, and that joining Mauldin & Jenkins allows that mission to scale alongside a firm with deep governmental expertise and a shared focus on practical, results driven solutions.
Following the merger, Mauldin & Jenkins is positioned to support government clients across the full project lifecycle, from initial assessment and strategic planning through implementation and adoption. Expanded service offerings include system modernization, strategic procurement and vendor selection, project management, policy implementation, and organizational change management.
