Accounting and consulting firm PBMares, LLP has merged with BSB CPAs + Advisors, a Fairfax-based company, enhancing PBMares' presence in the Washington D.C. metro area and adding depth to its industry niches. The merger, which took effect on January 1, 2025, unites almost 400 employees and 60 partners, with a combined annual revenue surpassing $90 million, and signals PBMares' dedication to sustainable growth and service expansion.
PBMares, LLP, a leading accounting and consulting firm, has merged with Fairfax-based BSB CPAs + Advisors, effective January 1, 2025. This strategic combination enhances PBMares' presence in the Washington, D.C. Metro area and adds depth to its existing industry niches.
The merger brings together nearly 400 employees, including 60 partners, resulting in a combined annual revenue exceeding $90 million. BSB CPAs + Advisors, founded in the early 1980s, specializes in tax, financial accounting, and assurance services, with a focus on outsourced accounting, employee benefit plans, construction and real estate, and government contracting. These areas complement PBMares' existing strengths.
