Telecom consulting firm, TCA, is set to merge with Pinion on April 1 in an attempt to deliver expanded services and solutions to broadband and telecom operators. The merger, which formalizes their 30-year long collaborative relationship, is aimed to boost support for broadband providers and help them navigate growth and expansion in both rural and urban markets.
Pinion has announced its intent to merge with TCA, a consulting firm focused exclusively on rural telecommunications and broadband providers, with the proposed combination expected to take effect April 1.
The merger formalizes a relationship spanning more than 30 years, during which the firms have collaborated to serve broadband clients nationwide. By integrating TCA’s regulatory specialization and rural telecom expertise with Pinion’s broader advisory platform, the combined organization aims to deliver expanded consulting resources and more comprehensive solutions to broadband and telecom operators.
Founded in 1982, TCA provides financial consulting, regulatory guidance, government advocacy, grant support, network services, HR and operational solutions, strategic planning and M&A advisory tailored to rural broadband companies. Pinion, established in 1932, has evolved beyond traditional accounting and tax services to offer advisory capabilities in sustainability, government affairs, financial management, succession planning and business strategy.
Firm leaders noted that the integration will strengthen support for broadband providers navigating growth, optimization and expansion in both rural and urban markets.
Until next time…
