EisnerAmper, a New York-based accounting and advisory firm, has announced that the accounting practice of Prague & Company PC will join its ranks in a combination scheduled to close in spring 2025. The deal reflects EisnerAmper’s continued growth strategy as it expands its presence in the Boston metropolitan area.
Founded in 1988, Prague & Company has built a strong reputation over nearly four decades for providing high-quality, personalized accounting, tax, and fund administration services. The firm serves a broad client base of individuals, partnerships, and corporations across the globe. The combination will include 15 professionals from Prague & Company’s accounting practice. The law firm of Prague & Peters PLLC, however, will remain independent and is not included in this agreement.
Andrew Prague, the founder of Prague & Company, expressed pride in the firm’s legacy and excitement about the future. He stated that after 37 years of client-focused service, joining EisnerAmper offers a powerful opportunity to elevate offerings while maintaining high standards of quality and attentiveness.
EisnerAmper’s leadership echoed this sentiment, highlighting the strategic value of the combination. Jay Weinstein, vice chair of industries and markets, noted that the addition will not only bolster EisnerAmper’s Boston presence but also enhance its depth in key areas such as trusts, estates, foundations, nonprofit organizations, and closely held businesses.
The integration of Prague & Company’s accounting practice into EisnerAmper reinforces the firm’s long-term commitment to regional expansion and specialized expertise, while offering clients continuity and enhanced service capabilities.
