RRBB Adds Kleespies, Horwitz & Associates

New Jersey-based accounting firm RRBB has acquired Kleespies, Horwitz & Associates (KHA) and launched a new payroll service line, Superior Payroll LLC, in association with KHA. The addition of KHA, which provides tax and accounting services among others, follows RRBB's recent expansion efforts, and will add 12 employees to its ranks, while the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed.
Somerset, N.J.-based Regional Leader RRBB has added Kleespies, Horwitz & Associates (KHA), a Clark, N.J.-based accounting firm, and launched Superior Payroll LLC, a new payroll service line affiliated with KHA.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The combination adds 12 employees to RRBB, which ranked No. 2 on Accounting Today’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Leaders list with $37.57 million in annual revenue. RRBB is also a member of the Crete Professionals Alliance.
Founded in 1994, KHA provides tax management, accounting, financial statement preparation, business consulting, and estate and tax planning services. The firm evolved through prior combinations with Allorto Fox & Co. and Horwitz & Associates.
“When we looked for a firm to join forces with, we wanted a partner who shared our values and commitment to quality,” said KHA founder Paul Kleespies. “RRBB checks every box.”
The addition follows RRBB’s recent expansion activity, including the addition of Gail Rosen CPA PC earlier this year and prior combinations in New Jersey and New York.
