As part of the acquisition, Jeff Maichel, founder and managing director of Assure CPA, will retire. Maichel, who founded the predecessor firm in 1997, has over 40 years of experience in SEC reporting and public company audits. He expressed confidence in the transition, noting that joining Sadler Gibb ensures clients and staff will benefit from a deeper bench and broader services while maintaining established relationships and standards.
