US accounting and consulting firm SingerLewak LLP is merging with Hawaii-based Lemke, Chinen & Tanaka, an accounting firm known for audit, back-office accounting, tax preparation, and compilation services. The partnership, which allows SingerLewak to expand its reach in the Pacific region, will operate under the name 'Lemke, Chinen & Tanaka, a division of SingerLewak' and aims to enhance its employee benefits plan services as well as diversify client offerings.
SingerLewak LLP, a Top 100 U.S. accounting and consulting firm founded in 1959, has announced its combination with Lemke, Chinen & Tanaka, marking the firm’s expansion into Hawaii and strengthening its presence across the Pacific region.
Founded in 1943, Lemke, Chinen & Tanaka has provided audit, back-office accounting, tax preparation and compilation services to businesses and individuals for more than 80 years. The firm is also known for fostering a strong, people-focused workplace culture. Through the combination, SingerLewak will enhance its employee benefit plan services and broaden its capabilities across the Pacific Rim.
SingerLewak brings more than six decades of experience delivering accounting and business consulting services throughout California, the South and Southwest, and internationally. The firm serves a diverse client base that includes closely held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, public companies, investor-backed enterprises, credit unions, individuals, franchises, and international and governmental organizations.
