Sorren Adds Casey Neilon, Expands Western U.S. Presence

Idaho-based accounting firm, Sorren, has expanded its national network with the addition of Nevada-based consultancy, Casey Neilon. The deal brings 33 professionals, including six partners, to Sorren's already extensive platform, expanding the company's reach across the Western United States.
Meridian, Idaho-based Sorren has added Casey Neilon, a Nevada-based accounting consultancy, to its national network, extending the firm’s presence across the Western United States.
Founded in 2006, Casey Neilon operates offices in Carson City and Reno, Nevada. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Through the transaction, 33 professionals from Casey Neilon, including six partners, join Sorren’s growing platform of nearly 1,000 professionals and more than 100 partners across 24 offices nationwide.

Sorren was formed in May through the combination of 13 regional firms backed by private equity firm DFW Capital Partners. The platform has expanded rapidly in recent months, adding Oregon-based RTO & Co. last week and acquiring Healthworks, a healthcare consulting firm specializing in dispute resolution and arbitration, in October.
