415 Group has appointed Dana Patterson, former CFO and vice president of finance at Stark Community Foundation, as the director of its Not-for-Profit Audit Division. The move is seen as a commitment to the nonprofit sector, with Patterson's extensive auditing experience and dual perspective in public accounting and nonprofit management expected to bolster transparency and financial guidance for mission-driven organizations.
415 Group has announced the appointment of Dana Patterson as director of its Not-for-Profit Audit Division, effective April 2025. Patterson brings extensive experience in auditing, reviews, compilations, and IRS Form 990 filings for nonprofit organizations, along with a strong background in strategic financial consulting.
Patterson previously served as CFO and vice president of finance at Stark Community Foundation, giving her firsthand insight into nonprofit leadership and philanthropy. She also has experience across multiple industries, including HUD-funded projects, real estate, employee benefit plans, and manufacturing. A Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, she helps clients improve reporting accuracy and streamline financial processes through technology solutions.
Assurance Partner Jeff Buckshaw highlighted that Patterson’s leadership reflects the firm’s dedication to serving the nonprofit sector, especially as larger firms move away from not-for-profit audit engagements.
