Minneapolis, MN – October 7, 2024 – Abdo LLP, a full-service accounting and advisory firm with a FY23 net revenue of $45.09 million, is thrilled to announce its expansion into the Utah market with the opening of a new office in Salt Lake City. This move follows the firm's successful entry into Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2022, reflecting Abdo's strategic growth initiatives.

The firm’s Managing Partner, Steve McDonald, emphasized that Utah's robust business environment and talented workforce are key factors driving this expansion. “We see a strong demand for our services and are confident in our ability to establish a significant presence,” McDonald stated.

Founded in Mankato, Minnesota, in 1963, Abdo has continuously expanded its footprint, with existing offices in Mankato, Minneapolis, and Scottsdale. The new Salt Lake City office is poised to leverage the state's dynamic business landscape, providing enhanced business development and networking opportunities.

John Juntunen, a senior manager at Abdo since 2018 and a full-time business tax accountant, will lead the new Salt Lake City office. Juntunen, who relocated to Utah to spearhead business development efforts, is dedicated to helping business owners achieve their objectives in the region.
