Anthony Sciarra, a seasoned tax leader from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), has joined Armanino LLP as the partner-in-charge of its tax practice. This strategic move is part of Armanino's ongoing efforts to bolster its tax services, which represent the firm's largest service area. Sciarra will oversee strategy, growth, and operations across a national team of tax professionals serving middle-market, high-growth, and enterprise clients.

At PwC, Sciarra held senior tax leadership roles, focusing on growth strategy and tax transformation for top financial services institutions. His extensive experience also includes senior leadership positions at AIG and Enstar Group, where he managed complex tax functions for large multinational organizations. Sciarra's expertise is expected to enhance Armanino's capabilities in providing differentiated services, particularly in non-income-based tax regimes that require advanced modeling capabilities.

Armanino is also making other leadership adjustments within its tax practice. Caleb Crandell is expanding his role to oversee core middle-market tax services, including privately held business, real estate, not-for-profit, and private equity practice groups. Meanwhile, David Miller, Jon Davies, and John Karls continue in their tax leadership roles, contributing to the firm's robust middle-market practice.
