Strategic partner for regional accounting firms, Ascend, has appointed Nishaad Ruparel as its President. Backed by private equity firm Alpine Investors, Ascend achieved $100 million in revenue in under a year, crediting its success in part to Ruparel's leadership. Ruparel was previously involved in investment banking and has an extensive background in finance, which will play a significant role in further fueling Ascend's growth.
