Regional accounting and advisory firm, Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz (BSSF), has rebranded as Brown Plus, effective January 1, 2024. The name change, influenced by feedback from team members, clients, and community organizations, reflects the firm's expansion into services like HR consulting, talent acquisition, and CFO consulting, acknowledging its growth from a single office in Pennsylvania to five offices across Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz (BSSF), a regional accounting and advisory firm based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, has officially rebranded as Brown Plus, effective January 1, 2024.
Reason for the Name Change
The new name, Brown Plus, reflects the firm's evolution and expansion beyond its traditional audit and tax services. "Brown" honors the firm's founding in 1990, while "Plus" signifies the addition of advisory services such as HR consulting, talent acquisition, CFO consulting, and outsourced accounting.
Firm's Growth and Services
Founded in 1990 as Brown Schultz Snyder Mutzel & Plesic, the firm became Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz in 1998. Over the years, it has grown from a single office in Wormleysburg, Pennsylvania, to approximately 140 team members across five offices in Pennsylvania and Maryland, serving clients in 44 states.
