CBIZ Appoints Six National Industry Leaders to Enhance Client Services

CBIZ, Inc. (NYSE: CBZ), a leading national professional services advisor, has announced the appointment of six new national industry leaders, effective February 1, 2025. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in the ongoing integration of Marcum, which became part of CBIZ in November 2024, and reinforces CBIZ's commitment to industry specialization and delivering tailored expertise to clients. 

Newly Appointed Industry Leaders:

•    Michael Brooder – Technology & Life Sciences

•    Doug Fahrnow – Professional Services

•    Seth Goldblum – Private Equity

•    Julie Jones – Not-For-Profit & Higher Education

•    Michael Sacco – Consumer & Industrial Products

•    Abe Schlisselfeld – Real Estate

About the New Leaders:

•    Michael Brooder: Serving as Managing Director in Hartford, Connecticut, Brooder has over 30 years of experience working with clients ranging from innovative emerging growth companies to public entities in the technology and life sciences sectors. He possesses extensive knowledge of reporting requirements for publicly traded companies, including registration statements and Forms 10-Q and 10-K. 

•    Doug Fahrnow: Based in Indianapolis, Fahrnow is a Managing Director with extensive experience in professional services, including professional employer organizations (PEOs) and consulting firms. His background encompasses business acquisitions, profitability consulting, and managing financial restructuring scenarios. 

•    Seth Goldblum: Operating from Philadelphia, Goldblum is a Senior Managing Director in CBIZ's Private Equity Advisory practice, leading the financial and operational consulting division. With over 30 years of experience, he specializes in driving profitable growth and building long-term business alliances, with expertise in business combinations, merger integration, executive counsel, and overall business leadership. 

•    Julie Jones: As a Managing Director, Jones leads the Not-For-Profit & Higher Education industry group. She has extensive experience providing audit and consulting services to not-for-profit organizations and higher education institutions, helping them navigate complex regulatory environments and achieve their missions. 

•    Michael Sacco: Serving as a Managing Director, Sacco leads the Consumer & Industrial Products industry group. He has a strong background in providing audit and consulting services to clients in the consumer and industrial products sectors, assisting them in improving operational efficiency and financial performance. 

•    Abe Schlisselfeld: Based in New York, Schlisselfeld is a Managing Director leading the Real Estate industry group. He has extensive experience providing tax and consulting services to real estate owners, developers, and investors, offering strategic advice on tax planning, compliance, and structuring transactions.
