Chad Pryor Joins KSM as General Counsel to Lead Legal and Risk Strategy

Chad Pryor has been appointed as the new general counsel at Katz Sapper & Miller (KSM), overseeing legal and risk-related matters in support of the firm's continued growth and operational integrity. Pryor brings with him over a decade of senior legal experience across multiple sectors, and will play a pivotal role in navigating KSM's legal challenges and opportunities.
Katz Sapper & Miller (KSM) has announced the appointment of Chad Pryor as its new general counsel. Based in Indianapolis, Pryor will lead the firm’s legal and risk management functions, bringing extensive experience to a role critical for supporting KSM’s continued growth and operational integrity.
In his capacity as general counsel, Pryor will oversee all legal and risk-related matters, including client contracting, corporate governance, employment law, mergers and acquisitions, privacy, regulatory compliance, and litigation. As a strategic advisor to the firm’s leadership, he will play a key role in helping KSM navigate evolving legal challenges and business opportunities with confidence.
Jamie Ellis, KSM’s chief operating officer, welcomed Pryor to the firm, stating, “Chad’s impressive breadth of experience, combined with his strategic leadership and legal expertise, make him an exceptional addition to our team. His guidance will be invaluable as we continue to navigate complex legal environments and pursue growth opportunities with confidence and clarity.”
Pryor joins KSM with more than a decade of senior legal experience across professional services, government, and technology sectors. Most recently, he served as vice president of business development and chief counsel for the public sector vertical at a publicly traded customer experience technology and services company. In that role, he managed legal and compliance functions and helped drive strategic initiatives for a $300 million business segment.
