Joel Cooperman, cofounder of Citrin Cooperman, a leading advisory and accounting firm based in New York, officially retired on March 31. During his more than 40-year tenure, including as CEO and most recently as executive chairman, Cooperman oversaw over 65 acquisitions and lateral partner additions, guiding the firm from a small startup to a major industry player with FY23 net revenues of $674m.
