CohnReznick has named Jarrett Bluth to succeed Jay Levy as office managing partner of its New York office. Bluth, previously a partner and New York tax practice leader with the company, will now lead a multidisciplinary team offering assurance and tax services to diverse sectors, as part of a planned succession aimed at maintaining continuity and enhancing customer service.
CohnReznick has appointed Jarrett Bluth as office managing partner of its New York office, following a planned leadership transition tied to the retirement of Jay Levy, who held the role for seven years. Bluth currently serves as a partner and New York tax practice leader and brings more than 20 years of advisory experience, along with five years as an owner and operator. A certified public accountant, he has advised clients on strategic tax planning, business growth strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and value creation for private equity-backed portfolio companies.
In his new role, Bluth will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering assurance and tax services while collaborating with professionals across accounting, valuation, consulting, M&A, and transaction advisory practices. The New York office supports clients in industries including financial services, private equity, commercial real estate, consumer and retail, hospitality, manufacturing and distribution, technology, media, and family offices. Firm leadership noted that the appointment reflects a planned succession designed to maintain continuity and strengthen client service in one of the firm’s largest markets.
