CohnReznick, a New York-based accounting firm, has appointed Charles Kavanagh as an assurance partner. Kavanagh's experience spans over twenty years, mainly focusing on consumer and industrial manufacturing sectors, and includes significant SEC reporting and regulatory compliance work.
New Appointment
CohnReznick, a New York-based IPA 100 firm with a net revenue of $920 million for FY23, has announced the addition of Charles (Chuck) Kavanagh as an assurance partner.
Charles Kavanagh's Experience and Expertise
Kavanagh brings more than two decades of experience in providing attestation services, with a particular focus on the consumer and industrial manufacturing sectors. His industry expertise includes aerospace and defence, power production, life sciences, and plastics.
Kavanagh’s technical proficiency spans several key areas, including:
His extensive experience also includes significant SEC reporting work, including public offerings of debt and stock, as well as quarterly and annual SEC filings. Kavanagh is well-versed in regulatory compliance, having implemented SOX internal controls, reviewed SEC 34 Act filings (Form 10K, 10Q, 8K), SEC 3 Act filings (S-1, S-3, S-4, S-8), and related comfort letters. Additionally, he has expertise in U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting and has advised clients on managing regulatory changes from the SEC and PCAOB.
