Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM), has announced the promotion of three team members to partnership roles, Angela Prochaska, Mark Thomas, and Jordan P. Egert, effective from July 1, 2023. The move is part of the Maryland-based tax, accounting, and advisory firm's continued effort to advance talent within the organization, and it is expected to ensure quality service delivery to clients across numerous industries.

Angela Prochaska, CPA – Partner / Director, Tax Services
Angela Prochaska brings over 35 years of experience in public accounting to her new role as Partner and Director of Tax Services at CBM. She specializes in tax planning and compliance, serving clients in the automotive dealership and professional service industries, as well as high-net-worth individuals. Angela is recognized for her leadership in tax services and professional development within the firm.
Mark Thomas, CPA – Partner
Mark Thomas has been with CBM since 2015, contributing significantly to the firm's growth and client service excellence. As a newly appointed Partner, Mark will continue to provide exceptional tax, accounting, and advisory services, leveraging his extensive experience to support the firm's diverse clientele.
Jordan P. Egert, CPA, CFE, CDFA® – Partner / Director, Divorce and Litigation Services
Jordan Egert, with more than 15 years in the accounting profession, has been promoted to Partner and Director of Divorce and Litigation Services. His expertise encompasses divorce financial planning, litigation and forensic accounting, and tax advisory work. Jordan's leadership is expected to enhance the firm's capabilities in these specialized service areas.
