David Bundy, the president and CEO of Lexington-based firm Dean Dorton, has announced his retirement at the end of 2025. He will be succeeded by Jason Miller, a 20-year veteran of the firm, effective January 1, 2026, as the firm’s new president and CEO.
Dean Dorton, a Lexington, Ky.-based IPA 100 firm, has announced that longtime president and CEO David Bundy will retire at the end of 2025. Jason Miller, a 20-year veteran of the firm, will succeed him as president and CEO effective January 1, 2026.
Bundy has led the firm since 2012, overseeing its transformation into a nationally recognized business advisory leader. During his tenure, Dean Dorton expanded into new markets, earned repeated recognition among the IPA Top 100, and consistently ranked as one of the fastest-growing firms, in addition to being named a Best of the Best firm. Reflecting on his time at the firm, Bundy credited its founders for establishing a foundation built on exceptional client service and respect for team members.
Miller most recently led Dean Dorton’s technology and advisory services group, where he played a key role in advancing innovation and expanding the firm’s advisory capabilities. Bundy expressed confidence in Miller’s leadership, highlighting his deep understanding of the firm’s culture and his ability to continue its growth trajectory.
